ENGINEERINGNET.EU -- The framework is anticipated to be worth up to £ 1 million (€ 1.2 million) to Grontmij during 2012, and up to £ 3 million (€ 3.6 million) over the life of the three-year contract. The framework agreement has a two year optional extension.
The agreement will see Grontmij working alongside three other consultants and a range of contractors to support National Grid in managing their land contamination liabilities on both the surplus estate and land owned by the operational lines of business including transmission and distribution.
John Chubb, Country Managing Director Grontmij United Kingdom: 'I am very pleased with this framework agreement which will further strengthen the UK Planning & Design business. It underlines the trust National Grid places with our experience and knowledge.'
