COMbricks - Monitoring, Networking and Control + application story at Arcelor Mittal Gent
COMbricks - The first PROFIBUS and PROFINET-based automation system that unites network components, permanent monitoring with ProfiTrace and remote I/O.
COMbricks is a modular system that allows a mix of PROFIBUS repeater modules on a backplane.
The repeaters link up all the segments and over Ethernet, the condition of the installation can be remotely inspected with ProfiTrace OE (in a web browser).

Profi-xxx Remote i/o systeem ANTARES, voor toepassing in explosiegevaarlijke omgeving
The ANTARESplus remote I/O system can be connected to any current control with various bus systems (PROFIBUS-DP, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP). There are nine different I/O modules available in the form of digital and analog inputs and outputs.
In addition, with PROFIBUS-DP, high system stability can be achieved through the redundant structure of two top modules. A high-output power supply unit allows the supply of up to 32 modules. A large number of sensors and actuators can thus be connected.

Profisafe communication in practice
Profisafe gives the possibility to exchange failsafe data like the status of emergency stop buttons between different safety controllers through PROFIBUS and PROFINET. We show you an example of profinet based failsafe exchange of e-stop signals between different production cells.
