ENGINEERINGNET.EU -- The heavy lifting and transport specialist Sarens has concluded an agreement with Verbrugge Terminals, a logistics service provider with major presence in the port of Vlissingen in the Netherlands.

By combining their forces, both companies intend to approach potential clients in the large scale offshore engineering sector with an optimized service package, offering solutions for load-in, storage, preassembly and load-out of f.i. foundations, wind turbine generator parts and key support services.

"Due to our location, in the economic center of North West Europe on the North Sea coast, right at the entrance of the Western Scheldt estuary, Verbrugge Terminals is an ideal basis for providing logistic services to large scale offshore projects in the North Sea", states the company in a press release.

On the other hand Sarens - currently active in 51 countries - is a recognized worldwide leader specialized in crane rental and engineering projects involving lifting and moving loads with exceptional sizes and weights.
