ENGINEERINGNET.EU -- LiuGong Machinery Corp. has officially opened its European headquarters in Almere, Netherlands. The new headquarters will become one of its most vital overseas bases, states the company in a press release.
LiuGong has been selling machines in Europe for more than five years. The company rolled out a new finance program tailored for Europe in December 2011. It also has begun retooling its newly acquired plant in Poland to begin production of excavators.
In the past year, LiuGong successfully doubled the size of its dealer network. These efforts have clearly begun to yield results. In 2011, LiuGong increased sales in the European market by nearly 200%.
BACKGROUND
LiuGong is a construction equipment manufacturer offering a full line of machines to world markets. It runs 24 manufacturing plants in China, Poland and India that adhere to Six Sigma quality methods.
