ENGINEERINGNET.BE - Start it @kbc, de grootste incubator van België, is meer dan tevreden over zijn allereerste pitch in het Brusselse. In totaal meldden zich 28 hoopvolle start-ups aan.
“Onze eerste Brusselse pitch is een groot succes. We zijn heel blij met deze nieuwe lichting innovatieve ondernemers”, vertelt Katrien Dewijngaert, jurylid en co-founder.
“Onze start-ups genieten van coaching en diverse opleidingsprogramma’s. Via onze partners bieden we hen specialisten en mentoren aan zodat ze van hun idee een investor ready business kunnen maken”, vult Lode Uytterschaut, eveneens jurylid en co-founder, aan.
Veelbelovende start-ups mogen hun business-ideeën live voorstellen aan een professionele jury. De vijftien winnaars kregen meteen de sleutel in handen van hun gloednieuwe co-working space, in het hart van de Europese wijk in Brussel. Het is al de vijfde locatie van de incubator.
Start it @kbc is een partnership tussen Accenture, Flanders DC, Cronos, iMinds, Mobile Vikings, KBC en meerdere lokale kennisinstellingen. Sinds zijn lancering in 2013 opende de incubator filialen in Antwerpen, Gent, Hasselt, Leuven en sinds kort dus ook in Brussel.
De incubator biedt intussen onderdak aan 207 start-ups en is daarmee de grootste van België. In januari 2016 komt er een zesde locatie, deze keer in Kortrijk.
